I just over 8 weeks and it seems to be peaking (or at least I hope it is). What week did people notice a reduction in symptoms.

Week 16... sorry! But mine peaked at 12 weeks, so I think everyone (and even every pregnancy) is different.

WhateverIdo · 26/01/2023 13:35

Birth...sorry.

4thonthe4th · 26/01/2023 13:36

My previous 3 pregnancies I never had any sickness. Currently 15 weeks and still going strong with the nausea and tiredness!

PrimrosesandPears · 26/01/2023 13:37

20! ☹️ But I was unusually late for my NCT group. I think 12ish is often the turning point so fingers crossed for you.

Birth...sorry.

Same here. Immediately after giving birth I craved a bacon sandwich - I hadn't been able to tolerate the smell for 9 months.

tealandteal · 26/01/2023 13:39

Week 30 sorry!

justanotherlaura · 26/01/2023 13:39

Started feeling a bit better in week 14 but much better by week 16. Got it a little again in third trimester but nothing as bad as weeks 6-12, they were the worst for me

EveryLittleWish · 26/01/2023 13:41

10 weeks onwards but I still felt pretty crap until about 16-18 weeks !

youmustbemad · 26/01/2023 13:42

Improved a bit around 12 weeks, went at 16 weeks. After a bout of norovirus, that was fun...

underwear · 26/01/2023 13:44

Weeks 16-23 depending on pregnancy. Always so much later than I hoped.

MRSDoos · 26/01/2023 13:48

I had horrendous HG that literally disappeared at 13 weeks - the day I went into my 2nd trimester. I was on tablets, had to have a week off work and everything it was so bad - all day sickness. Then it just vanished.

I’m 25 weeks now and fingers crossed it doesn’t come back.

oceanbleu · 26/01/2023 13:49

Week 30

Mummyof287 · 26/01/2023 13:58

I think around 13/14 weeks with both my girls

WeWereInParis · 26/01/2023 14:22

Statistically weeks 9-10 are the worst. So you should hopefully be over the peak soon!

nettytree · 26/01/2023 14:27

Birth here too. Also had obstetric cholestasis all the way thru as well, so I was either itching or throwing up. But now have 2 great children so I’m glad I did it.

hedgehoglurker · 26/01/2023 14:40

Birth with all 3.

NalaNana · 26/01/2023 14:42

13/14 weeks, it was worst between weeks 10-12 I'd say! Afterwards there was still occasional nausea especially if I didn't eat something first thing, but loads more manageable

xogossipgirlxo · 26/01/2023 15:45

Mine reduced A LOT in week 13, but currently 15 weeks and recently had very, very bad day. Also still many food and smell aversions, burping etc. It's much better than it was though, so maybe I should shut up.

Conundrum12345 · 26/01/2023 15:50

18 week currently and it's still going strong. It got worse after 12 weeks for me when I came off steroids.

I'm on cariban for it which helps sometimes, but have been signed off work for a few weeks

Spotsstripes · 26/01/2023 15:54

Both pregnancies the moment I gave birth. It was all day and night.

J1290 · 26/01/2023 16:27

Not the magical 12 week mark like everyone says
it peaked for me at 10 weeks and atayed the same for about 3 weeks
then 14/17 weeks got better each week
then went

scrambledeggy · 26/01/2023 16:35

Week 20 both times

MrNook · 26/01/2023 16:41

N I'm 17 weeks and it's starting to get better now
