Are you in the U.K.? I'm shocked a dr would give fertility treatment to a teenager

30 first cycle
32 first cycle
36 third cycle: got pregnant the first cycle but it ended in a miscarriage. Second cycle didn't try because DH was travelling with work and third cycle it worked.

I realise how lucky I have been.

Yes. It was back in 2000. My DM was furious when she found out but I was employed full time and about to move out she said it was unethical. I’d been told at 16 I’d have difficulty as had severe gynae problems so maybe that’s why they did prescribe

Started just as I turned 33, conceived 18 months later through IVF. I've been asked if I wish I'd started earlier since it turned out we had fertility issues, but actually I still think you should wait until you're ready. Obviously we have the benefit of hindsight with a healthy baby!

37 years old.
3 years trying, no pregnancy, 2 rounds of ivf at 40, not successful.
Now 43 and have accepted our childlessness. We have a good life but there will always be some sadness.
