I’m freaking out! My sonographer said baby has Morton’s toe but neither me or my partner has it?
It says it is inherited so now I’m freaking out.
I’ve 10000% not been unfaithful what is going on?

Well what a good job she made a post about it otherwise who would you have had to make a snooty reply to?

But then she wouldn’t be able to live up to
her name.

Gosh, my second toe is longer than my big toe, 58yrs and I never knew this was a thing.

I have it, my Mother has it, my brother and my son don't. You don't express all your genes. We all have things hiding in our genes that we can pass on but don't present with ourselves. How do you think dark haired parents have children with red or blonde hair?

firsttimelondonmummy · 25/01/2023 11:23

Calm down everyone I never said I was worried about Morton’s toe I was freaking out that I thought the parents had to have it presenting to pass to the child and me and my partner don’t but understand now we must both carry a recessive gene.
If anything I’m glad he has it as supposedly more professional athletes have it than don’t and it’s only in 2-20% of the population and me and my partner love sports and always said we hoped he was sporty so hopefully a good sign 😂❤️
