Feeling unwell and reduced movements

Hi I'm pretty sure I know what the advice is going to be, to ring the unit, but just wanted to sense check this somewhere!

I'm 32.5 weeks pregnant with baby number 2, have some slight growth issues and low fluid which I'm on weekly scans for as they're worried about my placenta function.

The past few days I've felt a bit unwell, a bit like morning sickness or the start of a stomach bug but no vomiting or anything. I've been busy today and from about 11.30 until 10 minutes ago I maybe only remember feeling baby move once or twice. I'm now lying on my left side and after some prods I'm getting some movement from them, however it's quite light and still few and far between.

I want to ring the unit and I know they'll tell me to come in for monitoring to be safe. My husband thinks I'm being paranoid because Ive been a bit stressed about the placenta issues over the weekend. He thinks I should eat something first and see how the movements are after that as I've not ate much all day due to the sickness feeling. My concern is that yes baby's movements might pick up after food but they've been quiet for a while now so that's not going to negate my concern?

Sorry its so long, I'm just wondering if I'm right or if I'm maybe overreacting? I'm also worried incase I have a stomach bug and don't want to take that into the hospital with me incase I pass it on. I also have a scan booked for late tomorrow so could "wait and see" until then. I dunno I just have a bad feeling.

Thanks everyone. Took a long time to pass the trace thing, they had to get the DR to sign it off as was over the hour mark but otherwise all seems ok. Midwives were nicer in person, I was the only patient in the unit. Baby has been moving a little bit more so feel relieved, thanks everyone here for the encouragement too!

That's good. If you feel baby is off again make sure you to go back.
