Maternity Allowance- used 1st class stamp, will they still receive it?

Hi

So I applied for MA a week ago and posted using first class stamp, not really thinking much of it.. Now i feel like ive used the wrong stamp!

Has anyone used first class stamp and got a response from them? Or can anyone offer any advice on what to do?

Did u get a letter or text message confirming your eligibility? Im still waiting but receiving post in my area is slow

@blibbyblobb I got a text I think you should phone them, they'll use your details to tell you whether it was received yet or not x

Hello everyone! Please I need an advice here. I submitted my maternity Allowance form on 9/10/23 received a text message on 10/10/23 saying they have received and that I will get a response about their decision in 4 weeks time. After 2 weeks my form was returned for signature which I penned down and returned back to them with the envelope provided. Since then I am yet to hear from them again.
I don’t know if anyone has experienced this? Also I want to ask for the phone number with which I can be able to reach them on.
please I really need your kind assistance. Thank you

I had very similar @Jaelgold and I got my payment on the day before the day I asked for it.

No news is good news - means they're processing it rather than requiring changes

Hi,it been up to 2weeks now that I applied for maternity allowance and I didn’t get any confirmation from them that they have received it,I called and I was told it hasn’t gotten to them. My only concern now is that I submitted it with my baby’s birth certificate,because I have given birth already,please help, is there still hope that it would get to them?
