Hello all
Now this is my second pregnancy - with my first I spent weekends at Glastonbury and WOMAD but that was much earlier in the pregnancy. How do you think baby at 32 weeks will react to MUSE in Earls Court?

I guess that I'm not doing it any detrimental damage by going?
Thanks Jo x

feel very old, I haven't heard of MUSE!

I really wanted to go to a concert tonight ( am 37 weeks) but thought it would be a bit much. Am still working, maybe that should be the thing to go instead!

Jo
I was still playing the clarinet in concerts up to 36 weeks - in the middle of a full symphony orchestra, in front of brass, percussion etc. so at times it was very loud indeed. I was a bit worried but my doctor assured me it was fine and wouldn't affect the baby, so I'd imagine you'd be fine at Muse. it's not like you'll be pressing your bump against the speakers!
Mind you, baby is now 2 days overdue so maybe I've scared it into not coming out...

I went to an open air symphonia with fireworks at 5 months pregnant and to the Notting Hill Carnival at nearly 8 months. Baby kicked loads at the carnival but doesn't seem to have done her any harm. Although she does have very good taste in dance hall music now!

If you can cope with it, the baby can. Have fun.
