Are there signs if you'll go full term or early?

I'm 34 weeks and only just feeling uncomfortable. You know, bloated except it isn't bloat it's a baby. I've lost weight, don't have candles and have mainly just experienced fatigue and pelvic pain. I feel really different to my first 11 years ago.

My due date is Feb 2nd, consultant muttered about inducing from 26th January but wasn't specific as to why. At 32 weeks baby was estimated to end up as 8lb12.

I keep reading threads about second babies being early, but I have too much to do at work! And then can you tell? Is there a pattern? And then if she's not early should I accept being induced because hypothetically I can control the date I finish work?

I'd firstly find out why exactly your doc suggested induction before the due date, and go from there... personally i'd do all i could to avoid induction, regardless of work schedules - i've heard an induced labour is even more painful and thus can cause a cascade of complications / but that's just me.

Congratulations by the way!

A midwife told me your second tends to come around the same time as your first, was true for me anyway first was 39+0, second 39+1, no idea about signs they'll come early

If you can avoid being induced then I'd suggest you do. Probably different for everyone, but the induction process was started with my second for medical reasons (fetal heart deceleration at 37 weeks) and that labour was far worse than my first. It was admittedly quicker too but it felt out of control and horribly painful, and afterwards I struggled to bond with my child because I was so stressed. Where possible I think it's best to leave it to nature.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and have a great delivery and healthy little one Smile

Unless they give u a proper medical reason i would avoid inducing its a non natural process which isn't necessary unless baby is at tisk? 8lb 13oz is a doable size?? And scans arent spot on all the time.
my second came four days late like my first but a simpler and easy textbook labour.
sounds like u need to investiagte why they suggested induction
