I have mixed emotions about pregnancy boobs and struggling to find the right bra size.

I hope everyone has a wonderful festive season.
Anyways! I'm six months pregnant, and while I've mostly enjoyed my second trimester, the only thing I've found myself feeling "eh" about is how big my breasts have gotten. Of course, I expected this, but the extra weight and the appearance of stretch marks aren't ideal. My shoulders were not prepared for the increase in weight. I am currently in the 34DD range. I really miss having my old breasts. At the same time, I understand that I want to nurse, and my husband enjoys my changes, so I'm feeling conflicted about this. I'm confident that nursing will have its benefits. I am also struggling to find bras as the sizes keep changing. I no longer wear underwire bras and instead opt for sports bras, which do not provide adequate support. Do you have any other ideas?

Have you tried maternity bras? I got some the other day from primark and they've been so comfortable. They've got no underwire and I feel really supported. I have big boobs also. Currently a 36F. Since I've gotten them, I haven't gone back to wearing normal bras. I think it was 3 for £15. They're stretchy but firm material. I'm sure you could get some that are more pricey that would be even better quality. Embrace the change! All part of your body making changes for babyFlowers

have you tried Molke? they are incredible and I wish I'd found them before. they do not need to be an exact fit. I am breastfeeding and one boob is bigger than the other, and they vary in size at different points during the day. my molke bra's seem to fit well all the time and are so so comfortable. I hugely recommend!

To be honest, I haven't tried maternity bras yet; I've only recently switched to sports bras, which are becoming increasingly tight. Because this is my first pregnancy, I'm in uncharted territory. I was considering purchasing a nursing bra before delivery, primarily for breast feeding. I think the time has come for me to switch to a maternity bra.

@lochmaree I'd heard of Molke but had never tried it. I know they have a variety of bras, but do their nursing bras fit well enough to be worn with a summer dress?

Molke doesn't have maternity bras. It's just that their bras also work as maternity/nursing bras. It was the only bra that I was happy with when pregnant/nursing. It's a bit of a faff to put them on, they're like elastic all round so you have to pull them over your head and shove everything in them but once on they're great. Because they stretch all over they work well for changing boob sizes and when nursing you just pull one cup to the side. They have different kinds of fabric on the website and you choose how stretchy or stiff you'd like it.

Having said all that, after breastfeeding I loved getting back in my underwire bra's. They give a nicer shape. But I kept my old Molkes as sports bra's or for long haul flights.
