More worries - size & sex of baby

Hi everyone, I’m back with my 7152526th thread of worries šŸ˜‚šŸ™„

I know I probably have nothing to worry about but just looking for reassurance anyway.
At my dating scan I was dated 4 days ahead despite being fairly sure of my dates (consistent 28 day cycles, ovulation pain on day 15 - your typical average cycle).
I had a 16 wk scan and my mum asked if the baby was looking the right size and she said you can just tell at this stage that it looks right, but I did see her measure the head and it said 15 wk 3 days - which is my original due date from LMP but just wondering if it’s anything to worry about that I’ve lost those 4 days that were added on if that makes sense?

Also we found out the sex - a girl! But now worrying that maybe if I was only measuring 15+3 it’s not very accurate? She was very very sure though and said she’s being doing this a long time. I’ve attached the photos of the ā€˜potty shot’ as baby was not shy
I don’t care what sex it is at all tbh but I have announced it now so it would be a bit awkward if it turned out to be a boy šŸ˜‚

Looks like my scan from 16 weeks and I'm having a girl :) think it's normal to measure a few days out so try not to worry too much x

Due date is just an estimate anyway, think of it as a due period 3 weeks either side!

NHS scan will hopefully confirm sex for you at 20 weeks!

Due date is an estimate so not sure it matters. This is why I’d never tell anyone the sex (I would prefer to not know)!

yep, got a bit excited telling people tbh and it seems like everyone i know does it but now having regrets šŸ˜‚

Measurements are really tricky to get, so they may always be slightly out. I think it's only worrying when the measurements start becoming a few weeks behind.

The scan is the best, most accurate way to date the baby. Knowing ovulation and your cycle etc still doesn't guarantee when you precisely conceived. It's only a matter days anyway so don't worry, it won't have any impact.

If there is a strong heartbeat is that an indication baby is still growing?
