Low lying placenta

Hi, first message on here, so I'm 32 weeks pregnant, my placenta is stil 1.4cm away, so too close for a vaginal birth. Looking likely to have a c section, I'm scheduled for another scan at 36 weeks so fingers crossed it moves although they don't seem hopeful.
I've read that c sections with low lying placenta are riskier, it's posterior as well. I've had no bleeding yet, but the idea of going into hospital for 2 weeks before and potentially not seeing my 2 year old (not sure what visitors your allowed post COVID). Not sure how I'm going to keep myself occupied for 2 weeks lying in a bed, lots of reading and puzzles I'd imagine. Still has to be confirmed yet so might be worrying over nothing
Just wondering if anyone has gone through this or going through it has any advice. Also recovery after a c section with a 2 year old, no lifting or pushing the pram I think I'll find frustrating as I'm not one for staying in.
Thanks in advance for any feedback

Section with a posterior low lying placenta isn’t particularly higher risk for bleeding - it’s the anterior ones that are a problem because they have to cut through it to get to get the baby out. There’s still time for it to move though if you’re only 32/40 so fingers crossed.

Thanks, I know posterior is less likely to move and they didn't seem very optimistic. I know most have moved by 32 weeks, and it's only got a few more weeks until 36 will have to wait and see. Thanks for your reply.

Can I ask do you know how close it was at 20 weeks? So how many mm it moved between 20 weeks and 32 weeks?
