Early withdrawal and finishing with oral

need some advice here. My DH and I DTD without condom because we didn’t have any left but I realised I was being risky so he pulled out very early and I gave him oral to finish off. He definitely ejaculated in my mouth and not in my vagina. However I am mid cycle and likely around ovulation. I clearly didnt think this through in the heat of the moment and now extremely anxious about the possibility of pregnancy. I took the MAP. What is the likelihood that I could get pregnant from this incident?

This situation happened yesterday. I’m starting to think I should go for emergency IUD. I believe that could be a more effective measure for me. I have 5 days after unprotected sex to use emergency IUD to prevent pregnancy

Not immediately as he was about to, he would withdraw and I would finish with hands. We managed this successfully for about 2 years until we didn't lol. But previous posters are correct, this method should only be used if a pregnancy isn't the worst thing in the world for you. We were aiming to start TTC within a year of that point anyway.

Not a bad shout, especially as you do want some reliable contraception anyway! I now have a coil and it's great.

What coil do you have and has it worked well for you? I would go for the copper coil as that can work as an emergency contraception measure.

Yes, a vote for the copper coil here - I have only good things to say about it. You’re clearly feeling super anxious and worrying about unplanned pregnancy, you don’t want to go through that stress every month! They last 10 years, no hormones in them so no nasty side effects, I’ve read that they can make periods slightly heavier but I never had that at all from mine, either before or after dc. Get one asap and enjoy yourself! X
