Supplements in pregnancy

Hi, is there any supplement experts out there that can tell me which of these are safe to take during pregnancy? I've recently got my BFP after ttc for 2 years with 1 miscarriage in Feb, so I'm a little anxious about everything!

â—¦	Vitamin D3 - 1000ui
â—¦	Omega 3 Fish oil - 2000mg
â—¦	Vitamin C - 1200mg
â—¦	Zinc - 40mg
â—¦	Vitamin B6 - 100mg
â—¦	CoQ10 - 400mg
â—¦	Magnesium - 500mg
â—¦	Inositol - 1000mg
â—¦	Folic acid - 400

Are there any of these that shouldn't be taken along side pregnacare supplement or should I just take this on it's own? I'm just also worried about suddenly stopping taking these vitamins as I've been taking them for the last 8 months

I was similar to you and got told to stop everything and just take a pregnancy supplement (I’m taking Pregnacare max).
You are advised not to take anything on top of this unless you need extra vitamin D for health issues or I believe additional folic acid if you are overweight by a certain amount.

I'm just taking pregnecare max. My gp has prescribed a higher dose of folic acid for me due to my bmi. I wouldn't be adding any more to the pregnecare vitamins as they seem to be fairly complete and tailored to what is needed in pregnancy- you can have too much of a good thing and you don't want to overdose on certain things. I was worried because I had 5 months of severe sickness and my gp said as long as I was keeping the pregnecare down baby would get what they need from me. So as long as you're managing a balanced diet and taking the pregnecare they'll be just fine.

I would just watch that you hsve a broad range of pregnancy specific vitamins and don’t go overboard on dosage- I find it easier to see from % RDA if any are excessive. I saw a small study suggesting too high a dose of folic acid and B12 may be linked to higher rates of autism but I don’t know if this was peer reviewed etc.
I personally took a good bioavailable pregnancy vitamin at slightly less than full dose , ate a nutritious diet and added choline . Choline is well worth researching and not well enough known but taking it during pregnancy seems likely to hsve life long benefits to baby

If you can eat nuts an article in the Times once suggested a link with babies’ intelligence too. I decided to do lots of research this pregnancy as found it interesting but only jotted down what I found rather than checking sources more thoroughly .
also I saw probiotics may reduce the risk of eczema, and fish oil which you are already taking can reduce the likelihood of allergies .

Thanks everyone for your replies! I think I'll stick with the Pregnacare and stop taking the other supplements but maybe switch to the plus one as a couple of you have mentioned it. I'm just so anxious about everything I'm doing!! 😖

@helloimlaura i’m now 10 weeks, I’ve had two great private scans and I’m still anxious! Anxiety is pretty normal at this time so don’t be too hard on yourself 💖

I don't get why pregnacare max has 9mg of b12? I read somewhere that you need 2.4 in pregnancy. Isn't it bit too much? They're good though because they have methylfolate, which seven seas doesn't, it's just normal folic acid, which apparently doesn't absorb that well? Does anyone know and can advise?
