KIT days? Anyone know much about these?

Hi wondering if anyone’s taken KIT days whilst on maternity leave? How did you manage if you were breastfeeding? When did you start taking the KIT days? Did it make much of a difference to your Mat pay etc?

I split my maternity pay equally for 9 months then in month 10 (no pay) did all day KIT days that month. Nice way to ease in without using up holiday.
