Please someone reassure me 😭
All blood counts within range apart from White Blood Count which is 4.1 (range is 4.2-11.2) and Lymphocytes which is 0.9 (range is 1.1-3.6) having a bit of a panic attack and could do with someone with experience helping me calm down 🤦🏻‍♀️
Haven’t had a call from the midwife I have read the results via the app.

My sister has had the same thing both times she's been pregnant. She's perfectly fine and has 2 healthy DC

@polkadotpixie thats relieving to hear thank you.
I’m pretty sure I’m just naturally low.
I swear when I had a test a couple of years ago it was the same.
Read some awful things today though about it like your 2.5x more likely to get cancer and 60% likely to die younger than people with a normal/ high count.
Must stop googling 😫

Your blood count is barely into the low range, I honestly wouldn’t be too worried about that. The risk comes if they are REALLY low and you’re only just outside the normal ranges. Many people do have naturally low WBC and as long as you’re not getting frequent infections I’m sure you’re fine.

@BurbageBrook thank you 💖 I was hoping because it was just out I shouldn’t have to worry too much 😭🤞🏼
It’s weird because I’m touches wood generally quite well and always fought off infections quite well (got Covid twice and coped better than my partner) so was just a bit stressed and shocked by it as it caught me off guard!

It's a common finding on a full blood count and lymphocytes tend to fluctuate on a week by week basis, therefore a diagnosis is never made on a single result. You will be asked to repeat it in a month. Some people have naturally low lymphocytes/white cell count.
