I like herbal teas and I’m cold right now😅

I am a big green tea drinker, but have cut back dramatically as apparently it slows down/impedes absorption of folic acid. So I switched over to peppermint.

You can drink most, as others have said, but I'd also avoid or limit your intake of anything with valerian (it's in some bedtime/sleepy type blends). It probably doesn't pose too much of a risk to your baby but that can't really be 100% established.

I was told only 1 cup of peppermint a day as it promotes menstruation.

Goodness, I was recommended it by my midwife at around 12 weeks as I had hyperemesis gravidarum and have been drinking about 6 /8 cups a day since. 37 weeks now.

PP is one of those unhelpful replies (moody much?)

OP I think you can have most hot drinks in moderation. Obviously anything with caffeine you need to only have 1/2 a day max but hot chocolate and most herbal teas are fine :-)

Hot chocolate has caffeine in too you know.

I was told the same by a nurse for the nausea. I contacted a fertility nutritionist soon after testing positive and she said only one a day because in the first trimester. I am not sure about the 2nd and 3rd as I'm not that far gone as she works on a trimester by trimester basis.

Licorice is often used in tea blends for sweetness and can raise your blood pressure, so only have it in moderation.

Whoever told you this is barking mad.

also I’ve yet to see anyone drink raspberry leaf tea and anything actually happen. It can tone smooth muscle. It’s not an abortifacient.
