Advice needed! Bladder prolapse & birth?

I’m 26 weeks pg with my second and have just been diagnosed with a bladder prolapse. Got an appt next week to find out the severity /discuss it properly but atm I’m experiencing a very heavy/dragging feeling down there (😵‍💫) and constantly needing to wee.
Had a v-birth with my son & my midwife has told me there’s ‘no reason why I’d need a c-section’ this time around - but has also told me not to lift anything heavy/strain on the toilet, etc. I don’t understand - if a p0o can make it worse, surely pushing a baby out would too?!?
Would love to hear anyone’s experience or advice on giving birth with a prolapse - whether they went for a v-birth or ECS/did it make it worse?!
Only thing that worries me with c-section is recovery time with a newborn & a toddler!
Argh. Thanks all.

I had an elective c-section precisely to avoid further issues ( I already had mild urge and stress incontinence). As it stands, I now have a bladder prolapse which I suspect was already present but pregnancy exacerbated. 16 months post birth, I am still having problems that are actually worse. I have been offered a sling surgery which I've declined as it means no more children and it's major surgery. Instead I am having a Bulkomid injection in a few weeks to try and go the minimal invasive option with a 70% success rate. I'm hoping this helps me. There are options. But don't let them push you into a natural birth if you have real concerns. A C-section was immediately offered to me given my history. But sadly it didn't save the prolapse from happening so it's personal choice I guess.
