Does anyone know what implantation bleeding is like?

I think (and really really hope) I may have some implantation bleeding (CD 22, dpo 12) but have no idea what implantation bleeding is like - various websites suggest it is dark brown but I wonder if anyone has any real info from their own experience.

OP, I have seen your update and I'm sorry it wasn't a BFP this time, but wanted to add my story, as it might give you hope!

First month of TTC I had a very similar experience, light spotting for a few days, then came on as usual.

Third month of TTC, I had the same spotting, brownish- red, only there when I wiped. Lasted three days and I got my BFP three days after that! Currently 20+2. Unlike other posters my implantation bleed was accompanied by period like cramps. Good luck, stay positive and keep at it!

Just looking for some advice,
I believed what I had was inplantation bleeding. I had a headache, sore boobs, fatigue and cramps for two whole days. Then on the second night I had light spotting, like a pink colour. However I have woken up this morning and it's red but still light. It's not like a usual period, however my headache has gone and my boobs no longer hurt?! I'm 12DPO, first time TTC. I have read that implantation bleeding is different for everyone so some people get it heavier than others?
Any advice please ladies I cannot keep googling it I'm driving myself insane 😢
