Was your second? If they followed roughly the same scan percentiles etc.

DD - born 3 days before due date 6lbs 11
DS- born 13 weeks early 2lbs 4 but corrected they were exactly the same weight on their due date

DS was 6lb 15oz at 40w 3d EMCS
DD was 6blb 15oz at 39W ECS

1st 1 day late 6.3
2nd 10 days late 8.13
3rd 1 day late 8.4

Ds1 1lb 10oz born at 30 weeks
Ds2 4lb 13 oz born at 37 weeks
Ds3 6lb 13 oz born at 38 weeks

DD1 6lb 1oz on due date
DD2 7lb 2oz 9 days late

I think that worked out as 2nd and 9th centiles so both pretty small.

These days they are 25-50th centiles for weight and 91-98th for height so they don't necessarily stay small.

1st birth was the worst I have quick labours though

Thanks all. So it looks like there is a bit of correlation although can also be random! DD was 6lb5 and next baby will be induced at the same gestation. Looking similarish on scans so wondered whether I would have to push out anything bigger nervous laughter

Second DS was 7”11, born 8 days early
Both now really healthy boys, average height and on the slightly stockier side!

So very close

5.7lbs then 6.4 lbs

DD was so tiny my partner had to go out and buy extra small clothes

First was 6.8lb DD...on due date...she's gorgeous and intelligent adult...just like her mother
Second was 5lb DS...4 weeks early... handsome, intelligent strapping lad rugby player...just like his dad

My first born was 6lb 4o/z
2nd was 6lb 5o/z
3rd was 6lb 5o/z

DS1 - 6lb 5oz @ 37+4
DS2 - 6lb @ 38+2

I was 6lb 6oz at birth (4 days late), DH was 6lb 5oz.

First 6lb 2 (40 weeks)

Second 6lb 7 (39 weeks)

Ds1 7lbs 11 arrived 5 days late
Ds2 7lbs 7 arrived 4 days late

Ds3 due in 3 weeks and is growing along the 25th centile so far, but we shall see!

My first was 6lb 11oz
Second was 5lb 6oz.
Both born at term on their due dates.

DD - 5lb 3oz - 34+5 weeks
DS - 8lb 6oz - 37+6 weeks

Both now v happy and healthy.
