I think I have SPD,

I am in pain a lot in my groin and the pain is worse on the inside of my thighs, it's worse when sitting up, going up stairs etc
Have a midwife appointment to discuss next week, I am 30 weeks pregnant and also very exhausted

I'm a student nurse so I'm at uni and I also work as a auxiliary nurse through the staff bank, I'm really struggling with my work it's a heavy job and I'm in pain quite a lot during my shifts but we need the money,
Attending uni isn't a issue as I don't have a placement until after baby is born so it's just online lecturers and the occasional in campus lecture just now,

my partner has been picking up extra shifts at his work so I don't have to work as much but there not available all the time,
wondering if I should take maternity leave now? but I don't know if I tske maternity leave from my work if I have to also take it from university I'm due during Xmas holidays from uni so was planning on staying at uni until Christmas holidays so I don't miss to much

I have this, for me driving was flaring it up massively so I had to reduce my duties in work because driving is part of my role. Can you speak to your manager and see if you can amend your role to something more manageable for you? Alternatively can you take sickness absence or defer this part of your course by a year? I'd recommend sitting down with your tutor and asking about your options. I found physio very helpful (private was better than the NHS if I'm very honest)
