Should I just head to a&e? Brown discharge, can't get through to EPAU

I'm 11 weeks 2 days pregnant and this morning I had stringy brown discharge - looks like old blood. I've had a bit of cramping over the last week but assumed it was just stretching and growing pains.

Local early pregnancy assessment unit only works 9-12 every day, it has been 25 minutes since I called. Couldn't get through and was just invited to leave a voicemail and they'd get back to me as soon as possible. You're not allowed to walk in, it's appointment only.

I'm so distressed, I am wondering if it's best I just head to a&e? I live about 15 minutes away from the hospital. DP at work and not answering his phone.

Hi how are you doing today? I'm 9 weeks and 2 days and I've had the same issue this morning. I have cramps in lower abdomen and on and off around my back. We've planned a day out with my DD so just hoping it's nothing too concerning and we can carry on with the day. I had similar at 6 weeks, had a scan and had to go back at 8+1 and all was ok thankfully but measurement was 7+1, I am worried 😔 hope you are ok and everything works out.
