Dog stepped on pregnant belly?

I'm 14+1 and my Shih tzu stood on my belly, I was laying down flat - and it hurt a little bit but I just worry about these things as I'm still fairly early on. Should I be concerned?!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My dog always sat on mine.

Twoshoesnewshoes · 21/10/2022 20:21

Personally I would not worry- baby is in a lovely cushioned bubble designed to protect them from knocks and bumps, and dog paws!

Aquamarine1029 · 21/10/2022 20:22

You have absolutely nothing to worry about. Relax.

TooHotTooColdJustRight · 21/10/2022 20:24

Those first months are nerve wracking but genuinely don't let this bother you. When I was expecting dd2 dd1 would launch herself at me regularly.
Your little one is tucked up nice and safely. X

Thanks everyone for the reassurance 🙏🏼 I had a miscarriage last December so any Tony thing worries me!

I just always think how hard they have to push on the tummy with the ultrasound and realise that they must be well protected in there.

ladymalfoy45 · 21/10/2022 20:37

@FiRi brilliant point!

AutumnScream · 21/10/2022 20:39

Honestly op its fine imagine if you have a 2nd child and you have a toddler jumping on your pregnant belly as well.

Im having my first, im 20 weeks and every night without fail my cat uses my stomach as a trampoline. I get its nerve wracking though!

Limescaleandlemons · 21/10/2022 20:41

It’s fine. My dd used to trample all over my stomach when I was pregnant with ds.

Dal8257 · 21/10/2022 21:55

Don’t worry you’ll be fine. I’ve lost count of the number of times my dd has sat/kicked/elbowed me accidentally.
