Hi,
So I know this sounds ridiculous but I'm feeling so anxious.
I'm about 11 weeks pregnant and yesterday is the first time since finding out I'm pregnant that I've had no nausea. I've suffered terrible with queasiness and nausea all day, everyday. Although so horrible, I was grateful as it was a good sign. In a weird way it was comforting as we had a miscarriage in April and the feeling of sickness showed me all was okay.
I'm having my first NHS scan end of next week but I keep feeling like something is wrong because I'm not feeling sick anymore. I know it's nonsensical because I know that the feeling wouldn't/may not last all pregnancy.
Has anyone has the same and can reassure me?
I feel pathetic writing this but it's just how I'm feeling 🙈
Thank you in advance x

Mine really subsided around 12 weeks in both pregnancies. I think for most people that's the case as things settle down a bit in the second trimester(obviously not the case for those with HG).
Not long to your scan so hopefully then you will feel reassured.
With having a previous MC it's not surprising you feel more anxious about this. It must be really hard Flowers

@DesMoulinsRouge
Thanks so much for your reply, really appreciate the acknowledgement. Trying so hard to relax and enjoy and be positive but it's so hard!
Glad it's common and subsides around this time.
Thank you x

Hi, mine subsided around 11 weeks and I remember googling the exact same thing!
All was good. Many, many women find that their sickness disappears after the first trimester and in the 2nd you can actually find yourself feeling pretty good Smile

The placenta begins to take over about that time so a lot of people feel the nausea goes about 10-11 weeks

Silene · 18/10/2022 12:06

11 to 12 weeks for me every time. I felt so hungry after that! good luck
, I hope your scan reassures you.

U may find tomorow it comes back
i tended to have good and bad days around 11/12 weeks

Sesamechick · 18/10/2022 14:31

@J1290
Haha thanks for the heads up. My GP did recently prescribe Cyclizine for me but found it knocked me out so took half before bed rather than 3x a day. Couldn't risk the drowsiness during the day with work and kids etc as long as baby is okay, I can deal with nausea here and there, just been difficult everyday, all day but it was comforting x
