Did you know when your waters were about to break?

Just that really.

Had my water broken with DS at 38 weeks.

Pregnant with twins and currently 28 weeks. Just lately I have a really heavy feeling down there and some pulsing sensations. I know this can be normal but sometimes I feel a little pop then back to normal. I'm probably over thinking it as I know twins you have a higher chance of pre term labour.

I see my consultant on Tuesday so will mention this to her then.

Did anyone actually know or feel they were about to break?

Mine went each time just before active contractions at the end of thenlimbering up phase. DS1 and 2, they just "went" without sensation or warning. With DD I was induced and felt pressure within my tummy and when I felt there was no more pressure to be had they just went. First the forewaters and then the hind waters. Huge amount.

Mine didn't go until i was pushing my babies out, both times. Ds2 came with the waters in a huge gush.

With all 3 births my waters have been broken by the midwife.

Not so much pressure today thankfully 🤞🏼. Thanks for sharing your experiences, hopefully they won't go but if they did I'd be at home!

No I was in tesco 😂

No warning at all. Both times went on the toilet. Felt a pop and then realised it was my waters!

Nope! Had no clue

With DD’s, they were manually popped to get my labour moving.

With ds’s I was well into labour and pushing. They thought he was gonna be born en caul as they were really bulging out but at the last minute, the burst all over.

Managed 4 pregnancies - not once did I notice my waters go. Pretty sure it must have happened at the last moment when I was otherwise distracted! So sometimes you don't get that moment. Felt I lot of strange sensations as the day approached.

Both mine went during active labour. While I didn't know as such (I didn't know my own name at that stage!) the pressure was (understandably) immense, and the feeling of relief after was welcome - until labour then ramped up for the main event!
