Braxton hicks?! Early or shorter labour?

Just wondered what your experience was with this. I am 34 weeks pregnant with my third baby, I have been having SO many braxton hicks with this one. The past few days they've been every 10 minutes so I figure that is ALOT of BH's in a day!! LOL

Just wondered for those of you who had lots did you go into labour early? And did you have a shorter labour as a possible result of them??

TIA xxxx

I had loads of BH - didn't go into labour early, but labour was very quick considering it was back to back and first one. (6 hours active labour, 1.5 hours pushing).

However, this may have been due to the raspberry leaf tablets I'd taken, the session of reflexology I had, or the marathon walk I went for the previous day!

hi i had quite a lot with dd born last week at 40 + 13 but shorter labour 8 hours, that could be due to it being my 3rd.
Good luck

none with DS1 - very long labour

none with DS2 - 2 hour labour

loads with DS3 - 6 hours labour

(or I may just have forgotten about DS1 and 2! )

Loads with DD: 9 days late but labour under 4h even though it was my first. Also overdid it a bit with raspeberry leaf tea!!

Loads with this pregnancy: who knows??
Hope for us both it does mean a quick one!
