Appreciate this might be a sensitive topic and I have googled a lot to see the government recommendations. It seems that they are now recommending vaccine for pregnant women at all stages. I plan to have the jab just before 11 weeks wondering if anyone has or plans to do similar or people still tend to only do it later stage pregnancy?

@Peasplease12 what brand of vaccine did you end up having? I'm due to get vaccinated next week but booked it before I even knew I was pregnant. I'm 5+3 and so worried about things going wrong.

I had a moderna booster (first 2 doses were Pfizer). I felt really rough for a day afterwards (really sore and achy- like I’d done the workout of my life) but that was it

I had the first 2 doses and the booster whilst breastfeeding my daughter.
I've just has my 2nd booster at 10 weeks. I work in healthcare and visit people I their homes so wanted the booster as soon as possible

I refused the jabs even though I kept getting pestered to have them throughout pregnancy. I now have a healthy little 3 month old. I am not and will not have those covid jabs.

@mimi2538 I had moderna (my 4th covid vaccine overall, 3rd moderna booster - I'm a healthcare worker). That was when I was 4 weeks ish

I had my previous booster while breastfeeding. I was (mistakenly) told at my booking in appointment that the hospital would offer the covid jab alongside whooping cough at the 20 week scan. Found out this wasn't true at my 16 week appointment and booked the covid one through the NHS website straightaway. I would have had it in my first trimester if I'd known. Case numbers are on the up already.

I had the updated Omicron Moderna booster at 9+1 after speaking with my obstetrician. Considered waiting until the second trimester, but we were flying abroad for a wedding two weeks later and I wanted to be as protected as possible given the risks of covid itself. It’s a very personal decision - you just have to do what you feel is right for you

I wouldn't personally whilst pregnant why risk it I assume you've had the initial 3 jabs so you'll have some immunity

For the people who got the booster while pregnant, did you have to show proof ?

Had first two vaccines whilst in second trimester with twins early last year. Would’ve had sooner if NHS prioritised pregnant women back then. The NHS wasn’t actively encouraging pregnant women to get it, but I think the study on vaccinated pregnant women in America hadn’t long been out which helped make my decision. No health/development problems with my twins over a year later and were only born a couple of days premature (usual for twins) without any problems.
