With my due date approaching in a few days just wondering what people tried to get things moving and if they felt it worked?

personally don’t believe in all the myths but just thought as a bit of fun would be interesting to hear 😀
I have just been doing loads of walking to try engage babies head as still not engaged at almost 40 weeks! But nothing is working.

I had a really long walk the day before DS1 was born, it was totally unintentional as my dad took me into town as I didn't want to drive and he parked at the opposite end of where we needed to go so I had to walk (I had to pop into a restaurant to use their toilet on the way 🙈) but as soon as we got back to the car I was having "backache" and 6am the next morning my waters broke and 7 hours later DS was born! I also drank a lot of raspberry leaf tea which I genuinely think did help.

DS2 was due on DHs birthday and so I had a celebratory G&T (it was amazing!) I also got on my hands and knees and scrubbed my kitchen floor but that didn't work and he was born two days later after a long labour so nothing like the easy 1st labour 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I'd say go for a long walk and have a G&T for fun!

A couple of friends told me that they walked up a big hill and went into Labour the next day.. so I walked as fast as I could up a big hill at 39+6 and my waters went the next morning.

Walking up a hill, eating curry and trying to express milk. These seemed to work for me.
