How many pregnancy tests did you do?

Before you accepted that you were pregnant and didn't need to take any more?

I have taken 3 so far and I can't help but think of Gavin and Stacey where the poor girl took 34 tests.

I had an IVF pregnancy so I was given a day to test, I did the one they gave me but also a FRER because clinic tests are crappy, then another FRER a few days later, a week after the first one I had to test again due to my clinic's policy then at some point I did a digital and got the 3+ which is when I stopped testing. A lot of IVF people test everyday for about a month, I just thought about how expensive that would be!

Been pregnant 3 times.

Now 24 weeks pregnant.

I took tons of pregnancy tests! Doesn't change the outcome but I found it so satisfying to see those 2 lines when I'd had months and months of bfn each time I was ttc.

About 4 I think -. FRER which gave me my BFP, then a digital a few days later, a random cheapie I had left over and the second digital in the pack about a week after my first FRER.

About 5 a day for a week, then one every couple of weeks. Recurrent MCs made me worry

4 ERFR and 2 digital clear blue! I potentially would've taken less/more but that was all I had and I didn't want to buy anymore.

1st pregnancy- 2 tests
2nd pregnancy- 3 tests (faint lines then a digital), baby 1
3rd pregnancy- I've taken 12 since I found out and I'm currently 5 weeks, I'm convinced something is wrong though

I am now up to 15 tests in 13 days, including a clear blue digital which said 3+ weeks this morning. I am 5+1.

I think I will have to pack it in soon, I only have 4 tests left, but this makes me feel nervous for some reason, it's like I need to keep confirming that it's real!!

One when I missed my period. It was very clear and as my period is regular I didn’t doubt it.

I was in hospital for something unrelated so they gave me about four on different days - all negative.

When I was discharged I realised my period was late so decided to do one just to make sure and got a blazing positive. Shock of my life!!

Did one more after that because I was nervous about lack of symptoms.

So I took two myself.
