NHS employee 3rd trimester help

Hi I work for the nhs and I’m patient facing. I’m currently only 23 weeks and my boss was doing a maternity risk assessment on me and a covid risk assessment this week which and so far nothing has changed for me since before I was pregnant.

I know getting covid in 3rd trimester is worse for u and baby and am getting conflicting info about whether or not I can see patients when I get to 28weeks? Anyone know the guidance for nhs staff? will I be able to carry on till the end? My boss wasn’t sure and said “we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it” but I’d like to be aware so I can prepare.

Hi, I also work for the NHS but in the community which is face to face.
I'll be working from home from 28 weeks as my trust says no face to face patient contact after 28 weeks- I'll then be going on maternity leave at 35 weeks.
I'm 20wks 4days atm so still a while to go!

I’m NHS but hospital based in outpatients at 31 weeks- the recent policy at my trust is to continue face to face until maternity leave as normal so I am still continuing to see patients but avoiding any covid positive. I am at increased risk due to immunosuppression but still deemed able to see patients :)

The national guidance on not doing face to face work from 28 weeks seems to have been withdrawn back in April so it’s more of a individual risk assessment.
I spent most of first trimester trying to avoid high risk patients and ended up catching it off the medical students I was teaching instead!

I'm patient facing in the nhs and the guidance now is we are all treated the same, with a basic maternity risk assessment. Covid who basically.

Thanks everyone, I ended up speaking to HR they said I can still patient face at 28 weeks and beyond so long as not in high risk areas and obvs not to see any covid positive patients which I’m sure my boss will agree to. I’ve had covid twice already now, once pre pregnancy and once at about 14 weeks pregnant so I’m hoping I’ve had my fair share as I was really poorly with it and don’t fancy it again. X
