Hi all,

I have just self referred to Frimley as newly pregnant, if anyone has done this recently can you advise if they send letters/call or text for appointments?

Thanks!

Measuring 2 days ahead at 12 weeks. Have had this with all my pregnancies though and avg at 20 week scan and then later they tend to measure smaller. To be honest I’m very petite so I think they have just got my genes!

Our bloods took forever to come back! Got them yesterday and had scan on 23rd September. She told me 7-10 working days and it was 11 I think. Generally though, no news is good news as they should contact you if it comes out as high risk.

Do you find this still quite an anxious time? I just feel like the 20 week scan isn’t for ages and I can’t feel any movements yet so it still feels really uncertain? Really looking forward to getting to the movements stage for more reassurance!

@3rdtimelucky2022 ah thank you, I actually followed up with them this pm and they had my results in 🙏 as you predicted no concerns raised and I’m feeling much more relax this eve.Have you told anyone your news yet?

yes, I totally agree, it’s such an anxious time. Did you feel the same way through your previous pregnancies or have your miscarriage been between those and now? I don’t think I said before, but I’m really sorry you’ve had to go through your losses. Were they able to diagnose a cause? We’re finding ourselves taking it one day at a time, I’ve only been able to say ‘I’m pregnant’ out loud a couple of times but I wondered if telling people might actually help in learning to enjoy this time? X
