Hello. I currently went to a private pregnancy scan. Bit of a tmi back story my last period was 10th June or very close to that. We was trying to conceive a few times after my pregnancy last one being on the 23rd June. The sonographer said I was about 5+5 the first time I went which would only take me back to the exact date I had intercourse. Then she said we will re scan you 2 weeks after which was today. I've gone and thwre is a growing sac but she cannot see any baby only a shadow at the top of the inside sac. This women is not a media sonographer. I didn't drink alot of water both times and she kept asking after do you need a wee? I said no twice. She's referred me to the early pregnancy unit for a internal. Has anyone ever had this and had a good outcome? Thankyou.

Hi yes. I did miscarry. I had a tablet today to stop the hormones she said I need to take 4 more on Sunday to start the bleeding. But I'm in excruciating pain rn I have had a miscarriage twice before and it always felt like a heavy period with slight pains. This feels like contractions every 3-4 minutes I'm.in agony and I don't know why she said the first tablet won't hurt but I'm not bleeding it feels like It should be

So, so sorry op, both for your loss and for your awful pain. Flowers

I miscarried many years ago at 17 weeks and it felt exactly like you describe - proper labour contractions.

Sending love and healing vibes.
