Anyone else ? I’ve actually had an endoscopy in past and this morning woke to the same sensation in chest throat and stomach . So painful couldn’t get comfortable and pain was so much worse breathing in or lying down . Anyone else had anything similar . Finally gave in and took the omeprazole the doctor prescribed weeks ago ? Just wondering if anyone else has had similar I was actually worried it was my heart but the fact when sitting up I kept burping throughout day and also the fact was worse on bending and lying down and taking deep breaths made me relax a little . The pain is so sharp ! I’ve just got over a vomiting bug so I think a few days of not eating and only taking meds has aggravated it to this extent !

Like ither posters everything was a drop in the ocean compared to the prescription drugs. Bad pregnancy heartburn is a whole other beast to regular heartburn.

I used peppermint tea and chamomile tea and my doctors told me it was the worst thing I could have drunk. Apparently both are relaxants and cause the "valves" to relax allowing the acid to rise up. Heartburn meds are the only solution really, though sipping flat coke seems to help me

@Lkakpk I find that I'm better if I eat plainer, use less oil, lower fat, and don't eat food that's too rich or heavy. No takeaways as they're always packed full of fat and oil. I'm also trying to eat smaller portions but that's tricky as I keep feeling ravenous!

I make my own pesto so I'm fine with that and pasta or gnocchi. I eat that a lot! White fish is also fine. I made bolognese recently with 5% mince and that was also ok.
