Best baby items you have purchased

So although I'm I the early weeks of pregnancy I'm really interested to hear some of your best buys/things you couldn't live without for baby.

Its been literally years since I was baby shopping as my children are now primary school age.

Let me know some of your favourites in the comments so I can have a nosy online 🤍

I had a ten year gap and the things I've had this time that weren't a thing/I didn't have last time were:

Boba Air sling - brilliant, just folds up into a tiny package, have used it loads.
Spinning car seat (Joie 360) - so easy to use and I was happy to be able to rear face longer than the first time around
Huckleberry app with nap prediction - unfortunately they've started to charge for it but you can just do the trial when baby is about 3-4mo.
Baby Check app from Lullaby Trust. Priceless when they are ill (and free!)

Things I've tried and don't see the hype

Zip sleepsuits - they go bumpy. Poppers are really fine, don't know why people moan about them??
Video monitor - audio was fine
Haakaa pump - uncomfortable and the ordinary hand pump was much more successful for me.
Purpose built co-sleeper cot. The one I converted with DS1 was the best.
Car seat base - they are soooo overpriced now
App to track feeds - just a recipe for stress
Facebook groups - they have gone ABSOLUTELY BONKERS. If you join any remember your pinch of salt to take with everything.

Doona carseat/stroller best thing ever!!!

-Nuby rapid cooler
-Bibs with padded neck - great for catching dribbles/spit up and preventing it running into the neck creases. The Tommee Tippee ones are fab.
-Little Loves car seat blanket
-Ollie the Owl sleep aid
