Reduced movement

I'm 22 weeks and since around 17 weeks I've felt movement. Some days especially recently be can be incredibly active strong kicks and movements.
Up until 2 days ago he's been kicking and moving regularly but for the last couple days I've felt nothing. Woken up in the night (this is when he can be really active) and absolutely nothing.
It feels so still. And it's really worrying me. What should I do?

You need to go and get checked out. Your midwife should have told you that any concerns in this department, and changes to movement should be checked out ASAP. Go tonight, don't leave it until tomorrow x

@MaisieRed you must must must go and get checked for any reduced movements. Ring the hospital maternity unit

Call up your traiage and get checked. My trust will often refuse to do CT a trace before 28 weeks but will check you with a Doppler

also even at 22 weeks baby is very small so might have just moved into a position you can’t feel. Always worth getting checked out however

Movements don't usually become regular or more clearly defined until around 24 weeks ish. That said, you know what's normal for your baby even before this time and if you are worried, you have to get checked out every single time. Please do ring your maternity unit and ask if you can go in. They won't refuse you. Usually babies become active as soon as you book in for reduced movements but you must go anyway, if no other reason than to put your mind at rest.

I'm currently lying on the sofa. I'm 33 weeks tomorrow and have barely felt my baby move all day. I had a cold sugary drink and lay down on my side and within a few minutes he was kicking away. You could try that first (be careful if you're diabetic) but perhaps call the hospital whilst you're having a lie down.
