Go along. You're not obliged to tell them until later in your pregnancy if you're offered the job. At that point if they withdraw the job offer, it'll be pretty obvious that they are illegally discriminating against you.

Good luck. Ignore anyone who says you're wrong to apply- pregnant women are just as entitled to apply for jobs as anyone else.

You need this job and you are just as entitled to apply as anyone else. I wouldn't mention it at this stage and are absolutely not required to. Good luck with everything.

Go for the interview and tell them if they offer you the job. Think of it as giving them a pool of people to come back to for potential maternity cover. Generally you can go back to someone and offer them a job within 6 months of interview so they could approach any good candidates and offer them the maternity cover post.

Hi OP, sorry to hear you’re having a hard time at work. And congratulations on your pregnancy - I am 16 weeks along 😊

You are not obliged to tell your new employer yet, so I wouldn’t worry about that. However, am I right in thinking you won’t be eligible for any maternity pay if you leave your current job though, as you’ll not be in your new job long enough before baby comes?

So, could you remain in your current employment for another 14 weeks, signed off with stress + take holidays perhaps, and then take mat leave as early as possible (11 weeks before due date)?

Don’t tell them when offered the job, they’ll find a way to withdraw the offer. Tell them when you are legally obliged to and no sooner.

15 weeks I think you're fine 🤷🏻‍♀️ if you were further along it would be awkward.....

If you join the new job now you won't be entitled to any maternity pay.

Can you style it out at your current job until a month before you're due? Then have baby and apply for jobs when you're on Mat leave?

From experience don't tell them until you have a job offer in writing.
I'm in the same boat, I'm being made redundant and had to look for a new job. I was being interviewed at 18 weeks pregnant.
1 job had practically offered me the job at the interview so emailed to tell them before was offered in writing that was pregnant, they changed their mind and no longer offered me the job.
2nd interview I didn't mention until had an offer In writing then told them.
I will be 6 months when I start new position. They were fine with the news.
