It’s been 3 days and I’m so bloated and in so much pain and I can’t take it anymore. Nowhere open to get anything. Been too scared to take anything sooner. Don’t know what’s going on does anyone know a magic trick to help here Sad

Fibogel! Really helped me when I was pregnant

It's quite common in early stages - do what you can with diet - eat white cabbage, prunes, leeks, figs, while you wait to hear from your doctor about what's safe to take. It will get better after the first trimester.

Fybogel from an emergency late night chemist, safe to take in pregnancy.. The local police station usually know which one is open on Sunday late but it should come up if you Google.
Or a petrol station with a big shop may have it, or they may sell prunes?

Prune juice

Call your gp first thing I had it early pregnancy and it’s horrendous. The only thing the I think may help you this late on a Sunday is booked water and feet on a stool on toilet.

Have you got any orange juice? A big glass of that might help. I've been having the same problem and find that drinking a glass of orange juice every day, increasing fruit and veg intake and changing to wholemeal bread really helps.

I had this when I was in very early pregnancy and it was horrible! I drank lots and lots of water as I realised I probably had not been drinking enough. I had also read that the iron in pregnancy vitamins can cause constipation so I made the decision to switch to folic acid tablets only for two days and then back to pregnacare again and that helped (but I am not a health professional so would suggest checking with someone first)

Glycerin suppositories and then get your GP to prescribe something to take each day. Plus definitely lots and lots of water and fruit and veg. Dried apricots are quite good.

Squatty potty-or bricks/large tins or anything to raise your feet higher. Game changer for me.

Monday morning, get yourself:

Glycerin suppositories
Macrogol (Laxido)

Use them! They're both fine in pregnancy. The progesterone buggers up your digestive system, it's bloody awful!!!
And take the macrogol every single day, not just when you have a problem. Fybogel just bunged me up more unfortunately.
