Hi, first time I have ever posted on here.
I found out yesterday I am pregnant. Only very early. But it is a shock.
I have three kids, 13, 11 and 6. I was on the pill. All I’m guessing is a bout of sickness bug has made it not as effective.

I just am not sure how the hell to process this whole thing. I thought I was done with babies years ago.

Abortion is not an option for me, although of course I think every woman should have the right to choose.

I must only be 3/4 weeks but I am petrified.

I am now over weight, which I have never been with any of my other pregnancies. I am feeling OLD, I am just in total shock and not sure how to process the whole situation.

Anyone here having babies in their thirties? Anyone got teenagers and going back to nappies?

I would love someone to talk to. 😔

I'm 33.
13 Yr old son, 10 month old whoopsie 🤣
Honestly, it's been a breeze. Older dc can look after himself for the most part, is an expert at bottles, nappies & bedtimes. It's like having an extra parent!

Haha fab. I guess I’ll have lots of extra hands 😊

Hi! Congratulations!
I'm about to turn 38 and I'm 21 weeks with our surprise #5! Huge, huge surprise. I was actually undergoing treatments/investigations for early menopause 😄
Our older kids will be 17, 15, 12 & 9 when this one is born.
I also had immediate symptoms, and I feel much older/sorer this time 'round.

My kids are taking it all in their stride. Sometimes excited or curious. I don't think it feels real to them yet. The older 2 especially are busy with their own lives. My 12 year old adores babies. I think they'll be great, it will just become normal to them.

If you're overweight you may need a higher dose folate. I was surprised by that this time, best to see your doctor asap. Look after yourself!

Thank you so much. My eldest daughter will be 14 and she os absolutely obsessed with babies. I know they will be chuffed it just feels pretty crazy to me when I thought I was really really done, congratulations ♥️

It's bound to be a shock mine was too as I was done but it's happened and you will be absolutely fine! Its a bleesing you will get your head around it and life will continue,Just prepare yourself for the negative people because it came to me my close friends and family was great but its other people like school mums that mean nothing to Me saying wow how manys that then, rather you and me, what was this planned 😑 just unnecessary comments. Which then I lost a night's sleep as I was like why would anyone say them things, we work have holidays children are brought up well and have a good life. Hope this doesn't happen to you but just be prepared x
