Hi everyone,

It would be really good to hear some positive pregnancy stories following continuous vvvf lines.
I had a v.early MC/CP 1st April (4days after AF due). I think I had a CP in Jan but didn't test so not sure. I had a MC 3.5yrs ago at 5wks+3 as well.
I'm roughly 4wks+6. I got my vvvf bfp at 9dpo (last Tuesday) I tested 10,11,12,13dpo,18dpo,19dpo, which was yesterday. All roughly the same faintness, although I think 12dpo might have been the strongest but so slight. I used Superdrug's cheap tests and the super cheap strip tests from Savers so 2x diff. brands. I was cramping from 9dpo but these have calmed a lot the last 3 days with the mild sensations low down now and again. I am insanely bloated, feel absolutely knackered in the mornings but fine after about 11am ish, my boobs are slightly tender around the nipples and I think they look a little bigger but nothing dramatic. I've been more lightheaded than normal and a little unbothered about food, which is strange because I LOVE food. I've still been eating as normal just totally unphased by it the last 3 days. Last night was the first time I was like mmmm food! Haha.

Anyway, it's a really scary time, my partner and I have just been of the coping strategy mantra: "we're pregnant today, we might not be tomorrow", and "it's out of our hands at this stage", which is helpful but still doesn't change the fact we really want this little bean to stick around and I have waves of being totally pragmatic and fine, to balling my eyes out because i'm worried the inevitable is going to happen.

Had my first dr's apt yesterday who will ring me in 6 weeks to see if i'm still pregnant and then book me in for a reassurance scan if so.

Any positive successful pregnancy stories would be nice right now <3 pleasethankyouplease xxx

Hi @Roanna88 sorry to hear that you were going through a worrying time. Can I ask what the outcome was? I am going through something very similar at the moment and feeling very anxious.

Hi @abbaroony, so sorry to hear your experiencing something similar. Sadly and expectedly (I just knew deep down) we miscarried at exactly 5wks. Because this is my second early miscarriage within a 3 month window and I have a historical early miscarriage a few years ago with no live children I’ve been referred to an early miscarriage clinic. I’ve also had a cervix ultrasound which came back normal, and have blood tests booked for antiphospholipid syndrome (which can be treated with baby aspirin if that’s the cause). I am also going to ask my GP about progesterone supplements and being tested for my levels while waiting for my referral to go through which can take 74weeks where I live!

I’m sharing that info as it might be useful to you or others reading the post. I’m keeping all my fingers crossed for you and sending all the love. It’s such an emotional rollercoaster managing hope and fear simultaneously 🧡 xxx

Hi @Roanna88 thank you so much for taking the time to reply and really sorry to hear that things didn’t work out for you.

I think I have that same feeling deep down too - I just want something to happen rather than staying in this awful limbo!

That’s really useful regarding your next steps - thank you. I had an early miscarriage in February after a TFMR at 23 weeks in December, so now I’m wondering whether that has affected my ability to hold on to a pregnancy. You’ve inspired me to get in touch with my GP / the EPU to see if I can investigate further.

I really hope you don’t have to wait that long for a referral (crazy!) and that the progesterone does the trick xxx
