I posted this in conception but didn't get too much response. Absolutely freaking out.

I have no idea when I ovulated or when I conceived.

I have just done a clear blue early result test and there is the FAINTEST line ever. I can't even capture it on a photo and can't see it in some lights but it's definitely there.

It appeared within the 3 minute window.

What are the chances this could be a false positive? Is it even possible to have a line so faint? When should I test again?

This was definitely not planned.

Please tell me it's a false positive

Thank you so much.

I forgot to mention I have a negative digital last night but apparently they're not as sensitive?

Is there any point in testing again today or waiting until tomorrow/another day?

I can definitely see a line on the first response. I had a baby conceived on the pill, I relate to the panic. You need to get in to the doctors and be referred for an early scan to see how far you are. Are you OK? Its such a shock.

chubbachub · 19/06/2022 12:55

Sorry OP. I can see a line on the last photo.
I had something similar happen last month. 3 positive tests but just those cheap internet ones. My period came a few days later so i assumed either faulty tests or a chemical pregnancy. Either way I was grateful as we dont want a 4th baby. It was a prompt to sort out proper more reliable contraception for us.

Will you let us know how you get on? Hopefully this all turns out how you want it to.
Remember whatever happens, you will be ok.

If you are the OP (name change fail?)
i would say wait at least a full day to test again. You might see a difference in the first response by then.

I have the same symptoms as you at the moment OP. I'm 2 days late (although not overly as cycle does vary by a day or 2 from time to time), have cramps but no bleeding and am feeling slight nausea. Haven't done any tests yet but I'm hopeful nothing will come of it. I'm very stressed in work and had a family wedding this week and have been sick in the last few weeks so hoping its just my body resetting itself.

I would avoid doing a digital test so you don’t get a false negative. I believe the unit of hormone needed to test positive is higher than regular tests so it may not detect if it’s too early

Tomorrow on your first wee of the day would be better.

I found the ones that were about three for a quid from the pound shop the easiest to read. Basically just the strip without the plastic casing and not so expensive if you want to do multiple ones

Mammyloveswine · 19/06/2022 14:05

I can't see a line at all!

Clarelawson25 · 19/06/2022 19:54

princesscallie · 19/06/2022 20:24

I cant see any line @Clarelawson25 but as I mentioned above I feel the same at the moment.

Clarelawson25 · 19/06/2022 20:26

@princesscallie thank you it's so confusing I used late urine sample so I'll test in a few days . Hope you get to the bottom of your symptoms soon x

princesscallie · 19/06/2022 20:37

Thank you. I'm going to do a test tomorrow morning but I'm really hoping for a negative result and that I've caught some strange bug type thing. Definitely not on the agenda here.

Clarelawson25 · 20/06/2022 06:47

Fingers crossed for you. Here if you need a chat ,

LolaJ87 · 20/06/2022 10:58

Sorry OP but yes, they seem positive. If you are pregnant, it's very very early (judging by the faint line), which gives you lots of options.
