So I’m under a neurologist and have been for years . With my little girl my headaches improved dramatically at 13 weeks . This time I have had a daily constant migriane for well over a week . Started rather atypically for me , with tingling tongue then a day later full blown throbbing head . After my 20 week scan was referred to a &e to be on safe side ( Tuesday this week ) doctor I seen examined me and said migraines. He bumped up my neuro app for three weeks time .
my issue is I’m going away on Monday and I’m terrified I’ll be bad . Paracetomol not touching the pain and it’s debilitating Rang midwife unit again today to see if they had any advice and well to say they were unhelpful was an understatement . Anyone experienced this ? And any medics round to reassure me it’s possible for migraines to persist like this so constantly with no relief ? I do have chronic migraine normally but this is like a full blown migraine with no Relief . I would go back a &e but feel there is no point as they are convinced migraine is culprit . Checked bp it’s fine and no fever . Any advice welcome !

God there's nothing worse so hope it shifts soon for you!
I had a constant headache which would turn into a migraine each day last week. The midwife said they thought I wasn't drinking enough water so told me to up that? I'm not sure it was that as my water intake is already pretty high but it was sunny and it has gone so maybe they were right! Not much help but hoping it shifts for you soon!!

Massive sympathy.
I had a couple of shocking migraines during pregnancy.
one of them I was already in hospital (hyperemesis) and they sent for a doctor to see me again as I was in such pain. However they said to just have paracetamol.

no ideas how to cure it for you, but would any of the following be worth a try to take the edge off the symptoms:
one of those ‘4 Head’ sticks?
cold fizzy drink - cola or Fanta lemon to keep fluids up.
wash your hair - try hot or cold water.
hot water bottle wrapped in towel on affected side - bizarrely this helps me more than cold things.
eat something small and savoury preferably with protein - cheeseburger, maybe something salty like crisps?

Thankyou ! Funny you should say that , but midwife said exact same to me … currently sat drinking a 2 litre bottle . Like you , I thought my water intake was ok but will see if it makes a difference ?!

@onepieceoflollipop Thankyou ! It’s awful . Il try some of these suggestions . It’s just hard not to get panicky when it’s not going and nothing you can take !

@Lkakpk
hope it eases soon
i remember gently tapping my head against the bathroom tiles as the pain was so bad (don’t recommend it but I was suffering!)

I'm 30 weeks but this happened about 2 weeks ago. I also got my bloods checked to see if it had anything to do with my iron levels but not heard back so I'm guessing they were fine ha.
Hopefully you feel better soon x!
