Preeclampsia/Hypertension or white coat syndrome?

Nearly every time I went to the doctors my BP has circulating between 130-140 over 70/80. The doctor referred me to maternity ward yesterday afternoon to get checked... my BP was 145/80 over the course of 3 hours.. I told them I have white coat syndrome, I tested on a BP monitor at home prior to leaving and it was 127/84. I've had a few high readings of blood pressures during my life (I'm 27) hypertension runs in my family, my sister had preeclampsia at the very end of her pregnancy but only mild. They tested my urine yesterday and it was negative for protein, physical examination was good and I have no symptoms indicating I have preeclampsia.. No headaches, blurry vision, swelling etc. I know preeclampsia comes on suddenly and it's good that they're getting on top of it but I'm so nervous. CTG yesterday was great, I also have gestational diabetes. Baby is measuring in 97% percentile, I'm also 33+5 so want to keep the baby cooking until at least 37 weeks. Other than that I feel fine? I do have extreme anxiety and cannot handle stress... they took a blood test last night to check my kidneys, liver etc. so I'm praying it's all good and I'm all clear for preeclampsia ATM but they will most likely put me on blood pressure tablets to keep my BP down..

Anyone else going through the same, or been through the same?

Sounds like you're getting well monitored so I wouldn't worry, if it is PE they would pick it up very easily.

It does sound like symptoms of PET but youre being closely monitored. Ask them to run a PET blood test as this can determine the risk of pre eclampsia happening in the next 7 days. Are you on asprin at all?

I had pre eclampsia with my son that came out of no where within hours of leaving a hospital check up fine so it can hit suddenly. I had him at 38 weeks.
With my daughter i was monitored weekly from 28 weeks and then from 34 weeks i had a weekly PET bloods and twice weekly monitoring ctg at hospital. At my 37 week scan they picked up babys reduced growth (my son stopped growing at 32 weeks and my daughter 34) so induced me at 38 weeks. No pre eclampsia thankfully and all fine with her.
All I can say is you know your body best and if it doubt keep going in and keep being seen. In the last 2 weeks with my daughter i was seen 3+ times a week with any worries or concerns I had.

I've had very similar situation with my DD, except I didn't have gestational diabetes. My BP was also a bit higher than yours, around 150-160 at times.
In the end I developed mild preeclampsia about a week or two after giving birth (no preeclampsia while pregnant), but it wasn't too bad, I just had to take blood control pills for some time.
During pregnancy I was monitoring my health, checking my BP 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening as advised by my doctor.
Apparently what caused my preeclampsia were migraines, I'd always get high pressure on rainy days when my head would start to hurt. That one time after giving birth I had no paracetamol with me on a rainy day, so my BP skyrocketed, they found protein in my test for the first time and there it was - preeclampsia.😖I think if I dealt with my migraine on time, I might have not developed preeclampsia as I do not have any risk factors towards it (except for having high BP history in the family).
