Hey all! I'm 33 weeks pregnant and am just wondering what prep should I have done? What equipment should I have bought at this stage? When do I set up the crib? When do I wash the clothes? Basically can anyone with experience give me a timeline of what I should be doing over the next 7 weeks 🙈 I'm finished work!

Well the beauty of 2022, you can order and do most things within a week.

So I guess whatever you need to do before baby arrives, you can do, there's no hard deadline

Hi

My plan is that I shall wash all her clothes and set up crib, pram, prep machine, cot mobile etc as soon as I go on maternity leave which is in 3 weeks which leaves 3 weeks until due date

So far at 33 weeks tomorrow I've packed my hospital bag, only washed her clothes and bits for hospital.

Things I've bought:
Pram and car seat
Changing table
Baby bath
Cot downstairs sleeping
Cot upstairs sleeping
Nappies
Wipes
Cold water sterliser
Bottles
2 packs first milk for hospital (comes with teats)
Muslin squares
Short supply newborn and 0-3 vest and sleep suits ( can always stock up when baby is here )
Extra big knickers and disposable knickers for
Hospital
Snot sucker (absolute must!)
Thermometer
Manicure kit (home bargains £3.99) comes with brush, nail clippers etc
Dummy sterliser
Tommee tippee flasks (great for on the go bottle feeds)
Dummies

Think that's about it. Any questions happy to help

I'm no expert at all but 2nd time mum but found it much easier this time around x

From experience, do as much as you can now because you never know of something with happen to bring forward the birth - I had PPROM at nearly 35 weeks and lost about 5 weeks of prep time in total (the two weeks leading up to the caesarean where I couldn't really do anything as I was leaking waters) and then the three weeks that the baby arrives early. Was a really mad scramble to get everything sorted we needed sorting!

Thank you so much @strawberrysummer19 and @Weathergirl1 that is extremely helpful!

I'm actually surprised how much of that list I have. I felt v unprepared.
