TTC after c section

Our first born daughter was born early February 2022 by EMCS. We would like to have another as we want them relatively close in age.. when is safe to start trying again? I've seen some recommend 18 months, others recommended 12 months but I've heard of a lot of people having another quite soon after and being fine as the uterine rupture risk is apparently quite low.

What I am asking, is has anyone on here had another baby within 12 months of a c section and what was your experiences? Was the pregnancy normal or any complications etc?

The risk is low but it does exist and I suppose it either happens to you or it doesn't, so maybe a bit of luck, maybe other factors like the size of your baby.
Our consultant was really emphatic about not risking it.

Would you anticipate having any more children after the next one? In case a rupture makes that a bad idea.

I had a baby by ELCS this year and won't TTC before the 12 months have passed, although my ideal age gap if I could choose would be 18 months

The risk of placental abruption is also considerably higher when c sections are performed close together. When I had my EMCS the surgeon recommended waiting 12-18 months minimum before trying again.

I fell pregnant about 5 months (unplanned) after my c-section and am now 35 weeks! I'm having another section this time round but none of the midwives/ obstetricians have said anything about it being too soon. I thought I was going to be told off. I'm aware of the risks but have been lucky. My scar is itchy sometimes, I'm assuming where it is stretching slightly but it is quite low down x
