Signs of pre-eclampsia beeing ignored again

I had my first during the pandemic and I told my midwife time and time again of signs i was having of pre eclampsia, headaches, high blood pressure, feeling dizzy alot, beeing sick, getting pins and needles alot and even had protein in my urine and my midwife did nothing about it. I ended up beeing induced at 37 weeks after the day unit realising my bump was small and did a growth scan and induced me that same day as my baby had stopped growing and was measuring 33 weeks when i was 37 weeks. He came out a tiny 4lbs 5oz.

Im now pregnant the seccond time, 32 weeks and today i suddenly felt very dizzy and my vision completly blured, i sat down and threw up loads. I rang the day unit and they were not one bit concerned and told me to take it easy and rest. Im so worried signs of pre eclampsia are beeing ignored again. I think im going to ring my midwife tomorow and see if she will check my blood pressure and urine for protein. Or will she just think im over reacting? Ive been taking asprin this time round and i had a growth scan last week which showed baby is growing on his curve well. Im just so paranoid of things taking a turn and the signs beeing ignored again

Anyone else had pre eclampsia the first time then had it again the seccond time? Even though it wasant diagnosed with my first im sure i had it but signs were ignored

Id call triage, I'd say you are concerned about gestational diabetes and/or a problem with your liver and can they run some blood tests to check. Tell them you want to come in.

Explain you really feel something is not right. If you need to ask the nurse/midwife/dr to write in your notes that you presented with these symptoms and they refused to undertake any further investigations.

I had about 100 kidney and liver function blood tests whilst pregnant, they are standard tests in my experience. I hope you feel better soon.

Are you itchy at all? Particularly on hands and feet? Is your poo a normal colour?

Also have a look at HELLP syndrome, similar to pre eclampsia but doesn't always present with high BP and protein in urine.

It may well all just be standard pregnancy stuff but I don't blame you for wanting to be checked out more thoroughly, don't feel bad about advocating for yourself.

100% go to the hospital I had 2 days of being constantly sick while pregnant and when calling the docs they sent me to hospital, had a urine check was this colour and I ended up on a drip because I was so dehydrated. Yes my midwife checked me again around 30 weeks for diabetes because of babies growth x
