Anyone else 40 and pregnant?

Just as title suggests really….
I am 40 and I have three lovely children already. They are almost-12, 8 and 7.
I am desperate for another baby but sadly my last pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 10 weeks. I am still undergoing treatment for this as the miscarriage was middle of March and my HCG is at a low level but has plateaued. I had medical
management due to retained tissue but judging by the HCG I don’t think this has worked properly and atm I am at the EPU every few days for blood tests. This is frustrating me as I feel like I am in limbo and I just want to try again as I now feel time is not on my side :(
anyway I am digressing, sorry! I just wanted to read about success stories of ladies being successfully pregnant at 40 plus. I know full well
it happens but wanted to read about it to give me some positivity. Xx hope this makes sense x

I'm 41 and pregnant again (mmc earlier this year) not as far as I got with the mmc but I'm on progesterone this time so really hoping it makes a difference.

@dreamyunicorn it went well thanks, baby is doing absolutely fine. It was so stressful having found out about my previous MMC at my 12 week scan. I spent the whole scan sobbing with relief tbh.

I hope the progesterone makes a difference for you. I had bleeding this pregnancy from 6-9 weeks with no obvious cause. Started progesterone at 8 weeks. Hope it works out for you x

This may be TMI but my period started today. I was still getting positive tests yesterday 😢 but I know it’s miscarriage residue. I’ve got to do a pregnancy test next week. But now I feel I am on the road to negative tests.
I am still going to go for my bloods and my scan next week. I want to make sure my body is playing ball.
I now am fully confident I will be able to get my rainbow baby/baby number 4.
ive been so so so lucky with fertility.
