Travel insurance for pregnancy/baby

I'm supposed to be travelling to the US when I'll be (hopefully) 24 weeks pregnant. I have travel insurance through work but assume that will only cover my medical bills and won't cover neonatal care if the worst occurred and the baby was born whilst I was out there.

Is this a niche insurance requirement or will most insurers cover this if I declare that I'm pregnant when I take out the policy?

When I looked for travel insurance when I travelled around the same gestation in 2018 I was told I didn't have to declare pregnancy but had to check the policy for the period in which they will cover you. Some only covered up to 24 weeks and some wouldn't cover me if I travelled after 28.

I'm not sure if this has changed since. X

You can't declare pregnancy on travel insurance as it's not classed as a medical condition. Travel insurance usually covers complications and premature birth after a certain gestation and before full term (definitely check the small print) but not anything like getting checked for reduced movements.
