Hi Ladies, I've just had a faint BFP at 8 DPO. I've had 2 miscarriages before and I'm already terrified I will have another!

Apart from the obvious take preg Vitamins, eat well, no alcohol etc is there anything else I can do to make this bean stick?

Should I contact my doctor so they can do blood tests to check things? Progesterone etc?

Any advice or anyone else going through this ❤️

Lots of people saying 75mg aspirin but the recommended dose is now 150mg taken at night (as advised by my recurrent miscarriage clinic). It’s more effective at night according to a number of studies, notably a 10 year study across over 100 hospitals in the U.K. and Europe.

I had an undiagnosed blood clotting condition, who knows whether taking aspirin would have prevented one or more of my miscarriages. For my successful pregnancy I had aspirin and enoxaparin. In my unsuccessful pregnancies I asked if I ‘should’ be taking aspirin and was told they didn’t think there was a need. What I should have asked is - is there any harm if I was to take aspirin. Speak with your GP and ask if there is any reason they would recommend you don’t take aspirin - anecdotally the people I know who have asked have been told to go for it.

I'm sorry. When you're ready can you ask your doctor to refer you for investigation?x
