Oh my lord!!!

I have a 2 year old and do not remember this
Anything I eat comes out me like water it's terrible, I'm around 6 weeks ( calculating from my last period )
I have googled and it says hormones, it switches between constipation and exploding diarrhoea, any tips?

No tips, just sympathy. I’m in the first trimester too and having the exact same issue tonight out of nowhere. Just keep hydrated and hopefully it’ll pass!

Im the same - the only thing I can do to stem the nausea is eat, but when I eat it comes right out the other end! Except for when I'm constipated!! It's awful but I'm thankful to not actually be sick. Silver linings!

I had that with the sickness, would eat something & then spend the rest of the evening on the toilet with my head in a bucket. Luckily by 9 weeks it passed off.

Stay hydrated!

Hi there, sounds like the bug I had, supposed to be just 48 hours but mine lingered on and odd for about a month, allot of Norovirus around. Have Imodium for emergencies on a trip to the shops

Omg I am the exact same as you! I am 6 weeks pregnant and I physically cannot stop popping 😨 it’s actually starting to hurt my bum now because it’s so painful, I’ve been like this since I found out I was pregnant two weeks ago an nothing will help! Hoping it passes soon!

Hope you'll feel better soon.

I had diarrhoea throughout my pregnancy, other than that I had a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. I have a family history of ulcerative colitis so I asked for this to be checked during pregnancy (symptoms are similar to hormonal diarrhoea) but my concerns were dismissed. I got diagnosed with UC week after giving birth. I'm now on medication, it's all under control but still get annoyed when I think about all those months I've spent in the toilet.

Mine is probably an extreme example and I do not mean to worry you, just thought it is something to keep in mind if this carries on.

I have had morning runs every day since 6 weeks - though I did suffer with IBS before getting pregnant. Annoying because I need to eat and drink as soon as I wake up to stop the wake-up nausea. So I'm left trying to hold it all in while I cram biscuits and soft mints into my mouth and then I run to the bathroom, hoping I won't vomit instead. Lol.

Unfortunately I think digestive issues are pretty common in early pregnancy, like you said it's the hormones doing a number on you.

I'm sure you've tried lots of things but: Instead of loo roll, use baby wipes/something like that for less soreness, and try your best to stay hydrated. Plain foods in small amounts (less fatty/greasy/spicy food), always make sure you know where a bathroom is when you go out. And maybe go to the pharmacy and ask what meds they would recommend for a pregnant lady - On things like immodium and buscopan it says to consult with a professional before using if you're pregnant, but they literally saved my life when I had a bad diarrhea episode in the past so I'd imagine the pharmacist will be able to tell you what would work in pregnancy. It's never fun, so you have all my sympathies.
