NIPT Test all LOW RISK but N.T 3.8mm at 13 week scan...
Then corrected itself out to 2.6mm in normal range at 14 week scan. Should I be worried?
Doctors suggesting Amnio but I truly believe everything is going to be ok and to just trust in this pregnancy.

I believe it goes up slightly up until 14 weeks, so the fact that yours actually went down seems to be a good sign. I think anything below 3.5 is ok? And the fact that your NIPT was fine suggests that everything is good

Do they know about your NIPT? That’s often the first port of call before resulting to amnio, as while not 100% accurate it’s pretty close to being.

@Merryclaire yes they are aware of my NIPT and although they said its very reassuring it doesnt test for all the chromosomal abnormalities.... and they started explaining there could be a rare generic issue....
Honestly I wish they could be more positive however I understand thats their job to present all the possible outcomes right...?

I suppose it depends on what you would do it there was a rare condition detected. If it wouldn't change your course of action then don't do it. If you will be happy and not worry for your whole pregnancy, then you can always decline.

If you are going to worry all pregnancy and the amnio result would affect what you do, then have the test. If a condition being detected wouldn’t change your course of action and you feel you can relax, then perhaps don’t do it.
However, I am inclined to think that knowledge is power, and even if you would continue with the pregnancy no matter what, at least knowing about an issue would allow you and the drs to prepare.
There is a tiny risk of miscarriage with an amnio, which is enough to put a lot of people off, but it’s very rare.
Whatever decision you make, I hope everything works out for you.
