My hip feels like it's broken honestly it's so painful. I have lower left side back pain and it's radiating into my hip, or it's coming from my hip I'm not sure. I can't even sit down as it hurts so much, can't lye down, don't know what to do with myself. Standing helps I think as it takes the pressure off my pelvis but I can't stand constantly! I have used pillows in between my legs at night which doesn't help, hot water bottles don't help, paracetamol well I might aswell be taking smarties. I have support cushions behind my back when I sit down so I'm literally sitting up straight constantly with both feet on the floor and it's still hurting. I'm also getting occasional spasms in my bum cheek! Like it's twitching !

I'm barely sleeping because of the pain and dreading the evening because that's when people usually relax and sit down but I can't even do that. I'm up and down like a yo-yo.

Is this pgp?! I'm 17 weeks and this last week it's really got bad

Definitely sounds like it could be. Any pain around that area can be PGP/SPD. Talk to your GP or midwife to get referred to a physio, or go private and get an appt with a physio or osteopath in your area asap to get advice on what exercises and modifications you can do. I found going to an osteopath has been transformational for my pelvic pain!

Thanks. I'm calling the doctor today and holding he'll take pity on me !
My nights are just horrendous, I had to sit on the dining room Chair with a lumbar support behind me while watching tv last night which helped massively but I don't want to have to sit on that all the time

This is my third pregnancy with SPD/PGP and what your describing definitely sounds like that is what you are experiencing. I have just recently been able to have obstetric physio after covid prevented me in my second and physio didn't see me until the day I went into labour with my first. The physio was very helpful and have given me a support and crutches to take the weight off me but advised to try to remain active as compensating will cause pain in other places. I would push to get referred as there's different exercises that you can do which they can guide you through. Also sitting with a rolled up towel at the bottom of your back and sitting on a yoga ball with knees no higher than your hips should help you get some relief. Good luck and I hope you can get some help soon, it really is so debilitating xx
