It's quite common during pregnancy. Tell your midwife and she might be able to refer you to a physio. You could try pregnancy yoga. Also I had a pregnancy massage the other week, that was amazing.

Yeah I will mention it to her. I was hoping it would go off but doesn't seem to be. And weird how it's only on the night time it starts !

Have you got a pillow between your knees? I ended up with a massive pregnancy sausage pillow. It did really help.

@Frlrlrubert yeah I do and also the big one behind my back kind of lifting my hip up as if my hip is straight down on the mattress it goes kind of numb

See you midwife. Probably SPD/PGP. I got a big support bandage (mid-thigh to rib cage, lovely for a hot summer) and also advice on what not to do movement wise to try to control it.

I will do. I'm in agony again tonight don't know what to do with myself !!

If you Google SPD or PGP to find tips to reduce movements. The idea is that if you put your fist between your knees, that's the position you want your knees in as much as possible.

So both feet on each step as you do stairs, swivel your whole body by sitting on a carrier bag to get out or the car, avoid pushing shopping trolleys. Basically avoid spreading your knees as much as possible.

You have my every sympathy, I've slept funny and woken up in absolute agony (DD is five but for some reason I still seem to get flare ups, but fortunately, not being pregnant, it's usually sorted by paracetamol and naproxen)
